MCNet (Mozambique Community Network, S.A.) is a highly prominent public-private partnership (PPP) established to modernize and facilitate international trade in Mozambique. Its primary operational mandate is the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Janela Única Eletrónica (JUE) (Electronic Single Window) and the TradeNet system. By digitizing customs clearances, cargo manifests, electronic declarations, and port logistics payments, MCNet acts as the critical technological backbone linking the Mozambican Tax Authority (Autoridade Tributária/Alfândegas), commercial banks, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
